Loos Change

It often seems like a given plumbing company in a given country has a monopoly on toilets and urinals, especially the public varieties.

-- So, in America, American Standard's name appears on a lot of white ceramic

-- In Britain, it's Armitage Shanks

-- And, in India it's Hindware

If you have tales of toilet domination in other countries, please chime in.

Not really connected, but this post reminded me of seeing a Made In India stamp on a drain cover in New York. No mistake, I stood there 10 mins looking at it and wondering if we were exporting drain covers now.

Glad to visit your webpage. I was happy to see that American Standard fixtures were in place and not Kohler. Kohler sells some good quality fixtures, but on the other hand, they also make some of the worst.

It beats Kenya, where you just get a hole in the ground! Haha. I love your blog - thank you!
